A moment for reflection
The Fortune Temple is an independent digital experience inspired by Chinese fortune-drawing traditions. Fortunes are offered for entertainment, cultural exploration, and personal reflection, not as guaranteed predictions or medical, legal, or financial advice.
Your Fortune Tokens
1 Fortune Token = 1 new fortune draw. Tokens never expire and remain available until used. Revisiting a past fortune costs nothing.
Bundles are priced in euros. The total payable will be shown before you confirm a purchase. A gift uses the bundle selected by the purchaser; the decorative envelope does not change its value.
Unused bundles
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the entire bundle is unused. For gifts, the purchaser should contact us; claiming a gift alone is not the same as using its tokens.
For a change of mind, partially used bundles and completed fortune draws are not covered by this voluntary refund offer. A fortune’s message or rating is not a guaranteed outcome.
These limits do not affect mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to faulty services, duplicate charges, or services not delivered.
How to request a refund
Email hello@chinesenumberfortune.com with your purchase email, purchase date, and receipt or payment reference. Tell us what happened. Please never send your full card number or card security code.
Refund requests are reviewed by us, not automatically approved by Stripe. If approved, the refund goes back to the original payment method and the corresponding refunded tokens are removed. A recipient cannot receive a cash refund for a gift purchased by someone else.
Card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days after issuance, depending on the bank. Other payment methods may take a different amount of time.
Your consumer rights
Stripe processes payments; it does not impose a standard 30-day refund policy. Applicable consumer law takes priority over our voluntary terms.
Consumers in the EU/EEA generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance purchases, subject to legal exceptions. For digital content, losing that right requires specific conditions, including prior express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgment of the loss of the withdrawal right. Buying tokens or using this website alone is not that consent.
Any required consent and purchase confirmation will be provided when checkout is available. If you have a problem with access, delivery, or a charge, contact us even if a bundle has been used or the voluntary refund window has passed.
