Information you share
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. Please do not include sensitive personal information or full payment-card details.
The current gift form lets you enter a recipient’s email and an optional message. These entries stay in the page’s temporary memory; the form does not currently submit them, take payment, or send a gift. Reloading the page clears them.
When purchases and gifts launch, we will need purchase and recipient email addresses, order details, gift messages, token balances, and fortune history to provide those services. We will update this notice before enabling them. Only share someone’s email when you have a legitimate reason to send them a gift.
Technical information and browser storage
Our hosting services may process IP addresses, browser information, page requests, and error logs to deliver the website, protect it, and diagnose problems. Error reporting may include the page address and details of an error.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google and shares technical information such as your IP address. Photos may be delivered through our hosting service’s image network.
Where sign-in is used, essential browser storage keeps the session available. The current site does not include advertising pixels or marketing trackers added by us. This notice will be updated if optional tracking is introduced; consent will be requested where required.
Why information is used
We use support correspondence to answer your requests. Essential technical information supports website delivery, security, and troubleshooting. The relevant legal bases are our legitimate interests in operating a secure website, taking steps at your request, and fulfilling legal obligations where applicable.
Once purchases open, necessary order and delivery information will be used to fulfil purchases and gifts, and required transaction records will be kept for accounting and legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use gift recipients’ addresses for marketing.
Service providers and payments
Lovable Cloud supports the website’s hosting and technical services. Providers may process information needed to operate the site on our behalf. Google processes font requests under its own privacy terms.
Stripe is our planned payment provider, but checkout is not connected yet. When enabled, Stripe will handle payment details; The Fortune Temple will not store full card numbers or security codes. The notice will be updated with payment and email-delivery details before launch.
Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where data-protection law requires it, transfers must be covered by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for details of safeguards relevant to your information.
How long information is kept
Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the request and related issues. Technical records are subject to hosting-provider retention settings. Information may need to be retained longer where law requires it or to resolve a dispute.
Specific retention periods for purchase, gift, and account records will be confirmed before those services launch.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
